This is a large leaf shaped clay cabochon that has been wire wrapped in brass wire. It is a "no frills" wrap so it can be worn by either a man or a woman. You will receive the exact piece that is shown; it will arrive to you on an 18 inch black cotton corded necklace to make a complete ensemble and placed in an organza bag for safe-keeping, or for gift giving.
These pendants are created using clay cabochons and quality wire. The cabochons are created here in our home through a process of shaping the clay, then baking it to harden it for long term durability. The cabochon is then finely sanded to remove any imperfections and a groove is run around the sides for wire placement. Each cabochon is sealed to give it a shine and wire wrapped in a variety of wire mediums to create a beautiful pendant.
Because this is brass wire, it will develop a natural patina over time. To keep it polished, we suggest using a polishing cloth or a soft-bristled brush with mild detergent and then drying well before storing. We cannot guarantee the cabochon will not be damaged using a polishing dip or cream.
